Healthy teeth — the main guarantee of health!
The most common dental diseases are dental caries and periodontitis. As a rule, they do not lead to death, however their treatment requires significant economic expenses and could be emotionally difficult.
Caries and gum diseases can appear in early childhood, and in case of improper treatment can lead to complete loss of teeth.
Oral health plays a highly important role in maintaining the health of the whole body.
Prevention of caries and periodontal diseases includes only four basic rules:
1) brush your teeth 2 times a day. Move the brush back and forth or use light sweeping motions. Make at least 10 movements for each tooth from the both sights.
2) the use of dental floss is a must. Some patients may need additional cleaning devices – special brushes. Your dentist can advise you suitable ones.
3) Toothpaste should contain fluoride. Fluorine strengthens the enamel, makes it resistant to the organic acids, which are formed in plaque, has an antibacterial effect and helps calcium to be incorporated into the structure of enamel.
4) Follow the principles of nutrition. Eat at least six times a day including snacks. It is desirable not to end with sweet. Your teeth should have some "rest." Between meals.
