Benha National University, Faculty of Dentistry that was established in 2023-2024; where the students are in the first level, have shared in celebrating the World Oral Health Day with 2 events:
The first day; 18 March 2024; was in an NGO Association of mentally disabled children with variable degrees of Mongolism and Autism. The number of children participating in the event was 140 and they enjoyed the show introduced by students for sketch of the Tooth and Bacteria that causes Dental Caries and how they can prevent if. They also received tooth brush and tooth paste.
The second day; 19 March 2024; was in a Primary school for level 4 students. The number of students who attended the event was 80 and they also appreciated the activities introduced by Dental Students and actively interacted through answering questions related to the oral hygiene measures as well as repeated the correct method of tooth brushing on a cast model after demonstrated by Dental Students.
