NOHP Puducherry - Dental screening & awareness program at HWC - Koravallimedu

World Oral Health Day (WOHD) Celebration

As part of the World Oral Health Day celebration, an NCD (Non-Communicable Disease) screening camp was conducted at HWC - Koravallimedu on 25th March 2025.

Key Highlights:
• Total Screened: 39 individuals
• Oral Health Education: Brushing techniques were demonstrated using dental models to educate participants on proper oral hygiene practices.
• Awareness Material: Posters on oral health and hygiene were handed over to the Medical Officer for future reference and continued awareness.
• Beneficiaries: Nearly 65 individuals benefitted from the camp, gaining valuable insights into oral health and NCD prevention.

The camp was well-received, contributing to increased awareness and improved oral health practices among the community .
