World Oral Health Day Celebration

A successful dental awareness programme was conducted at the Rajiv Gandhi Government Women and Children Hospital, Puducherry, in celebration of World Oral Health Day. The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 30 parents along with their children.

The session focused on the following key aspects:
1. Demonstration of Proper Brushing Technique using live models to ensure clear understanding and practice.
2. Oral Hygiene Education for both parents and children, emphasizing the importance of daily dental care.
3. Discussion on Nutrition and its significant role in maintaining good dental health.
4. Awareness on Preventive Dental Care, highlighting its long-term benefits for children.

The programme aligned with this year’s theme, “Happy Mind, Happy Mouth,” and turned out to be a great success. Both parents and children actively engaged in the session and gained valuable insights into maintaining oral health.
